🎮 Unacademy acquires game streaming platform Rheo TV. As per the deal, the ed-tech unicorn will fully acquire Rheo TV, enabling the exit of all existing investors.
Rheo TV was founded in 2019 to make professional game streaming a mainstream career option in the country.
💻 Byju’s acquires ‘Great Learning’. Apart from the education platform, Byju’s has also acquired the after-school learning app Toppr. The former acquisition was made for $600 million and the latter for $150 million.
💲 Moglix completes ESOP buyback worth $3 million. The B2B commerce unicorn has also expanded its ESOP pool to $10 million, which will include over 300 employees under the programme.
